Stef Mitchell

Through painting and within the historical tradition of nature print, Stef documents place and space. Her work explores an ongoing relationship with the landscape, recording walks, field edges, hedgerows and the effects of weather and human activity on the land through printmaking and painting.

 

Monoprints are made using plant material directly. The plant ink and paper having equal say in the process. Each piece is a unique one off.

 

Stef has exhibited nationally and internationally.
