Bio
Born in 1958, Neil studied at Ipswich and Norwich Schools of Art and worked for the Art Department of Homerton College, Cambridge.
Neil lives in Ripon, North Yorkshire, and has been painting full time since 2000. He paints mostly from direct observation in the landscape. His work also encompasses portraits, still life and figure paintings.
Drawing is a constant activity and is an essential basis for all work.
Neil has exhibited in a number of galleries in the UK and Spain, he regularly shares joint exhibitions and recently won the Harrogate Open Exhibition.
